Falklands Frigate Day 2012

Falklander Eric Goss and HMS Ardent Association member Mark 'Dickie' Henderson share their experiences of Frigates Day 2012 in san Carlos:Eric reports "With a remarkably fine day a large crowd gathered at Blue Beach Cemetery, San Carlos for the Remembrance and Thanksgiving Service to commemorate Frigates Day. I laid our wreath for HMS Ardent. My brother in-law took these photos. Ardent veteran Mark "Dickie" Henderson is with me in the first photograph. Second shot is of me placing the wreath and the third one is holding it up before the service began. There were of course other wreaths for HMS Ardent."For Dickie the trip to the Falklands was' awesome'. "Terrence and Sheila as well as Carli and Angus were fantastic hosts. I got to see all of the sites related to the war across the whole of East Falkland. It was great to get onboard the Clyde and the weather, quite against the forecast was bright and sunny whenever I was going somewhere! Read into that what you will."[cincopa AIEAn7Ku3drx]
