Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Commander Tim Boycott OBE RN

Several members of the association attended the service held in the Historic Chelsea Old Church in London on Friday 24th January 2014. The church was filled to overflowing as you would expect for such a well loved and respected man as Tim. The moving but humorous service was conducted by The Reverend Canon David Reindorp TD, the vicar of Chelsea Old Church. There were some good old hymns including the Naval Hymn, Eternal Father.A very humorous tribute was given by an old Naval Colleague of Tim’s, Jonathon Cooke. Association members attending were:Admiral, The Lord WestAndrew & Julia Gordon Lennox Ken & Janice Bonning Jim & Kaye Watts Geoff & Penny Bye Tony RayAfter the service a reception was held where several other members of the congregation remarked on our Association Ties.
